New Year

Hey guys, thought I’d update everyone with news of the band…..

First off, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! We all enjoyed the stresses of Christmas shopping, working hard, and getting completely smashed (apart from Bryn - as he doesn’t drink). 

We’re all working really hard at the minute, hitting it hard this new year. We’re writing a bunch of new songs - which sound absolutely fan-flipping-tastic, which we’re adding to the set. One new song to look out for is called “Golden Thunder” it’s a great track (bit of a “Valkyrie” vibe going on). So our set is looking pretty good at the minute.

Another bit of news is that we’re starting on recording a new EP. We’re recording with the same producer as we did for the last one, Jon Maguire - he’s the bassist of Editions, and used to be in The Story so Far. Despite going with the same producer, I think it’s gunna sound really different. The last EP we kinda wrote while recording, while with this one, all the tracks are finished/on the way to being finished; also, we’ve all grown up a bit more, finding our ‘sound’ (I hate when people say that - kinda pretentious) and we’ve matured quite a bit as musicians, and friends. Also Jon has gotten a lot better as a producer (not that he wasn’t any good when we recorded our first EP).

Also look out for shows, we’re looking to play further a field this year - with bookings for shows around the UK already in the works; and we’re also concentrating on getting more shows in Cardiff and Swansea - hopefully extending our fanbase.
